Of course we are desperate to read Zacs book when it comes out in Feb, but this was a good read! I really thought I’d enjoy this more then I did. It’s intriguing and it gives you more of a feel for the show.
Even though I hadn’t heard of the show, I was looking forward to reading Chasing Spirits as I have a fascination for the paranormal. It let you see their true friendship as well. Nick’s book is more about how GAC got its start and how they started the show than it is about paranormal experiences and the field of paranormal investigation.
I’m a fan of Ghost Adventures, and if you are too then you will like this book.

English Choose a language for shopping. Learning about how much work they all put into creating Ghost Adventures gave me a whole new look at my favorite show. It’s not classic lit but its a good read if you’re into the paranormal and always wondering about the how’s and whys of ghosts, etc. Feb 17, Dalaina Renee rated it it was amazing.
The book reassured me that Nick is the anchor in this endeavor. It is worth checking out though. Nick is no longer with them as he is now doing his own thing. So it’s not strictly Paranormal he’s talking about. I really enjoyed Chasing Ghostsand it made me want to watch more episodes of Ghost Adventures. The fact is that Groff wanted to be a film-maker, and it was the birth of Ghost Adventures that allowed him to become that.

May 25, Theresahpir rated it really liked it. Overall, I was very pleased with the book. You nic what it’s all about and can feel the real-ness in his words. I can look at him with a new kind of understanding. His curiosity about the spirit world and his desire to create meaningful and cutting-edge films merged and eventually became the well-known Travel Channel series Ghost Ad I bought this book for my daughter because we are huge fans of the show Ghost Adventures!

I was also pretty shocked to learn that despite what may be inferred by the actual show, Nick was the one who came troff for the idea of the documentary-turned-TV show and did almost ALL of the editing work, not only on the documentary, but on the first season of the show. Chasong of the three, Nick is probably my favorite crew member, but there’s an air of mystery about him There isn’t a TON of additional history of haunted locations or investigation theory discussed in the book, but those topics are addressed to an extent and there’s plenty of behind the scenes on some of the crew’s notably Nlck top cases.
I liked hearing about some of the stuff that didn’t make it into the episodes! Hostage to the Devil.
